Pinterest (or P Interest as my dad frequently call is!) is an amazing tool! And it really comes into its own for those big occasions, like moving house, growing your family or getting married. But how can you use Pinterest to create a wedding moodboard without getting overwhelmed by all the ideas and without falling in love with styles that won’t fit your budget?
Whether you’re just engaged or have been planning for a while and need some help narrowing-down your ideas, I hope this blog will help you become a wedding Pinterest pro! Whilst you’re pinning, you can take a look at my Pinterest profile which has some handy boards on non-traditional ideas, planning tips and all things eco-friendly weddings!
You don’t just have to use Pinterest to gather your inspiration, you can also save to your boards from websites. Lots of sites will have a useful Pinterest save button on each image. So you can simply hit that, then a pop-up will pop-up (!) and you can choose which board to pin to from there.
If you don’t see the Pinterest save button, lots of browsers offer a Pinterest add-on, just run a Google or Ecosia search for Pinterest Save Button. And if all else fails, you can always save an image to your phone or computer and then add it into Pinterest manually. Don’t forget to also include the web address when you add your pin so you can go back to the source at a later date.
I hope you enjoy using Pinterest to create a wedding moodboard. Just remember that there isn’t a couple out there like you. So though you may take inspiration from other weddings, you’ll more than likely want to put your own stamp on it to make it irresistibly yours! Who knows, maybe one day, other couples will be pinning your wedding to their inspiration boards!
