As the 21st June is World Humanism Day, I’m so pleased to be joined on the blog this week by the lovely Nat Raybould to talk about having a Humanist ceremony, and why they can be a great choice if you are planning a sustainable wedding!
For those of you new to the idea, simply put a Humanist ceremony allows you to get married how you want, when you want and where you want! The ceremony is non-religious and, unlike a civil ceremony, there is no script so you can inject as much fun, personality and individuality as you like. Humanist ceremonies also enable you to get married wherever you like – on the beach, in a forest, in your home – and when you like (sunset ceremony anyone?!). Unfortunately, at the time of writing, Humanist ceremonies aren’t legal everywhere in the UK, so make sure you check out Humanism.org to understand what else you need to do.
And now, without further ado, over to Nat, to find out how she creates moments of magic.
Thanks so much for asking me to write about what I do!

I’d love to help! Hugs, Nat xx
